Cardi B and Stefon Diggs

Cardi B’sdivorce case reportedly took another sharp turn after a new filing detail surfaced. As per a new claim, her ex-rapper,Offset, asked for DNA testing tied to one of her children, adding more strain to an already tense split.

The “WAP” rapper and Offset had already been moving through a long breakup timeline. Now, the reported request pulled NFL starStefon Diggsand the baby into the legal picture, too. Cardi B’s “Little Miss Drama Tour” stayed in headlines after Diggs was reportedly spotted at her Washington, DC stop. It also raised new questions about how far the divorce fight had spread behind closed doors.

Offset wants a DNA test done, claims report

As perTMZ’s reportdated April 9, 2026, the issue appeared in a court order from February 25. TMZ said the order came from Cardi B and Offset’s divorce case. According to the outlet, the judge denied Offset’s request for a DNA test tied to a “newborn.” TMZ then linked that description to the baby, and many reports connected to Stefon Diggs. The same order, the outlet said, granted a paternity request involving another child. The dates of birth were redacted in the filing. Cardi B shares Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, with Offset.

Meanwhile, that court detail landed against a messy relationship timeline.Cardi Bfiled for divorce in 2024 and sought primary custody of their children. She and Offset had already split once in 2020, then reconciled. Later, they broke up again. TMZ said the former couple shared three children together before the latest legal dispute. Separate reporting also placed Cardi’s child with Stefon Diggs in November 2025. That made the February 25 court order especially notable. By then, the divorce case had already moved beyond routine custody and property issues.

The outlet said Cardi B andOffsetwere barred from making disparaging or defamatory remarks about each other. That suggested the court was trying to cool things down publicly while the case continued privately. At the same time, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs had their own recent timeline, including romance rumors, a public PDA phase, and later breakup speculation. Still, the main legal point stayed narrow. TMZ reported that Offset wanted DNA testing tied to the baby, but the judge denied that request. For now, that left the filing as another flashpoint in a divorce that still looked far from settled.

Masters 2026: The shot everyone wanted to see — would 8-year-old Frankie Fleetwood clear the water?

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The most popular golfer on the grounds at Augusta National on Wednesday emerged from the walkway between the eighth green and the ninth tee of the club’s par-3 course, the blond locks flowing out the back of his green hat making him instantly recognizable to the fans waiting behind the tee box.

Yahoo Sports

“Come on, Frankie!” one fan yelled.

“One time Frankie!” another said.

Tommy Fleetwood looked toward the gallery and laughed.

The last hold of the par-3 contest is where the best golfers in the world turn into fans, breaking out their cell phones to video their caddies, wives and children teeing one up and trying to hit the green from about 120 yards away, straight over water.

It is perhaps the most relaxed place on the property. But for 8-year old Frankie Fleetwood, it was serious business.

“Frankie is very set on what he's doing,” Tommy said Tuesday. “He's very excited.”

A year ago at this event, Frankie Fleetwood charmed the entire golf world and became something of a social media sensation for probably the cutest interview in the history of the sport after failing to hit it over the water.

“I’ve been doing my hardest to get it over the green. I’ve been practicing as hard as I can, just not reaching it this year but just trying my hardest,” he said on Sky Sports.

What made the interview so memorable wasn’t just his composure, it was that you could practically hear his father’s voice — the cadence, the accent, everything — coming out of little Frankie. And in many ways, it felt like a metaphor for Tommy, who had been trying his hardest to win an event on the PGA Tour for the very first time.

Tommy Fleetwood took care of that last year when he brought home the Tour Championship. With another year of growth and strength, would this also be Frankie’s time?

“Frankie, is that the warm-up daddy gives you?” Rory McIlroy said as Frankie stood to the side of the tee, mimicking box jumps.

It was a rather hilarious, but also heartwarming scene: McIlroy and his wife, Erica, sitting together in the grassy area behind the tee box, their daughter Poppy and Shane Lowry’s little girls chasing each other around the course.

“What am I hitting here?” McIlroy said to Erica, who was carrying his bag around the course.

“Eight?” she said.

McIlroy broke out in laughter, mouthing “Nooooooooooo,” because an 8-iron would be about four clubs too much.

With all the family pictures being taken and everyone hitting at least a shot, maybe two, the ninth tee usually gets backed up. One kid after another tried, most of them barely hitting it 20 yards.

“Not so confident,” Frankie told ESPN’s Marty Smith as they walked from the eighth green. “But honestly on the range this afternoon I felt good. So I feel like I’ve got a chance, but yeah, still trying.”

The kind of people who tend to come to the Masters tend to remember these stories. They’re hardcore golf fans. They may never meet Frankie Fleetwood, but they know he’s been trying his hardest. Those who gathered around the ninth tee were as invested in watching him try to do it this year as they would be if Tommy Fleetwood had the lead on Sunday coming up to the 18th green.

After McIlroy, Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood hit their shots, the chant began to build: “Fran-kie, Fran-kie, Fran-kie!” Off to the side, Frankie made practice swings with his driver. Tommy gave him a tee and leaned over to whisper something in his ear.

Frankie teed it up, took one practice swing, squared up in an extra wide stance and — smack.

It sounded good. Really good. The ball began its journey across the water, high but fading a bit. From behind the tee, it looked like it might have a chance. It was a good try, but ultimately was wet, a bit short and to the right.

The crowd groaned. Frankie turned around and looked at the sky, as if to say, “Ugh!”

“Next year, Frankie!” someone shouted out.

The crowd around the tee began to urge him to try one more. So he teed it up again. The contact sounded even better the second time. Frankie crouched down, thinking perhaps this might be the one. It looked like it was tracking for the right front of the green. Would it get there?

Alas, it did have the distance, just not the aim — maybe four or five yards right. Lowry’s daughter enveloped him in a hug.

So, so close. The process continues. But the kid is going to do it. Maybe next year is his year.

“Frankie's growing up. Every year you see him get that little bit older at the Masters,” Tommy Fleetwood said. “I think more than anything the pressure is on me to keep making the Masters until he reaches the green on the 9th.”

A little more time, a little more strength, a little more practice and he’s got it. He’s already almost there.

“Next year, Frankie!” one fan yelled.

They didn’t see him make it this time, but they certainly saw him try his hardest.

Why Memphis' Charles Huff hire matters beyond the field: 'I bear that cross'

MEMPHIS, TN – His chair scraping across a concrete floor and piercing the soft murmur of noise inside this Memphis barbecue staple, Charles Huff gathers himself.

USA TODAY Sports

Scoots back, leans forward.

On the job little more than 100 days asMemphis Tigers footballcoach, Huff measures his message.

He is the only Black head coach from the2025-26 college football coaching carouselto carry an elevation in role, spending a year at Southern Miss and landing a fringe Power conference-type job at Memphis, an American Conference resident with P-4 ambitions.

EXCLUSIVE:Pat Fitzgerald was vilified, then vindicated. His truth comes out at last

Huff embraces he is coaching for more than just his Memphis program, players and staff.

“I carry that, I bear that cross,” Huff told USA TODAY Sports. “But I know, for years, when I was a young coach at Tennessee State coming up in the profession, I would go to AFCA conventions, and back then they had a thing called the BCA (Black Coaches Association). And we would meet on Sunday night. It would be the last meeting of the night.

“And there were hundreds of African-American minority coaches in a room, and there were head coaches that sat on the panel. I remember Tyrone Willingham was there one time. Charlie Strong was there. And I just remember it being such a gripe session. ‘We don't get our opportunities. We got to get more opportunities.’ I just remember, James Franklin said, ‘Guys, we come in here every year and we complain. And yes, we need to, you know, get more opportunities. But when we do get opportunities, we gotta win.’”

Athletic Director Ed Scott, Charles Huff and President Bill Hardgrave hold up a Memphis football jersey with Huff's name on it before Huff gives his introductory speech as the head coach for the University of Memphis football team during a news conference at Billy J. Murphy Athletic Complex in Memphis, Tenn., on December 10, 2025.

Huff is the first minority head football coach at Memphis in 15 years; he reports to Dr. Ed Scott, the school’s first Black athletic director.

Across the major-college sports landscape, Virginia has a minority head coach and athletic director; Syracuse will this summer, when Bryan Blair takes the top athletics chair and has football coach Fran Brown.

That’s it. That’s the list.

Scott recalls the tough questions he asked of Memphis leaders and community members once Scott identified Huff as his No. 1 target to replace Ryan Silverfield, who left for the Arkansas job.

“The first thing I'll say to you is I'm the first African-American AD in the history of Memphis, right?,” Scott told USA TODAY Sports. “And, (Memphis President) Bill Hardgrave, well, a Caucasian, a white man, took a chance on me. And I think, by all feedback I've got from Dr. Hardgrave, he's been really happy and pleased with his decision.

“And when I was going into this search, I reached out to some prominent people around here and said, ‘Look, you know, if we go in the direction of a Black head coach, a minority head coach, how's that gonna be perceived?’ So, I wanted to know, but I will tell you this. When you work for Carla Williams (University of Virginia athletic director), which I am grateful to have the privilege to have done, and you work for the first Black woman, African-American woman, to run a P-4 (department), you hire the best person for the job. And my value is I wanted the best person for the job.”

Temperatures push into the 80s on the first day of April, the sixth day of Memphis’ spring football camp and the day Scott also introduces his new women’s basketball coach, Hana Haden.

Now, Scott surveys the fields of the Tigers’ sprawling football practice complex, which features an 120-yard heated and cooled indoor field as well as three full-size playing surfaces outside.

A receiver makes a corner-end zone touchdown catch and Scott is the first to congratulate, quick with a pat on the helmet and an exclamatory expletive.

“At the end of the search process, Charles Huff was the best person for the job,” said Scott, a former college baseball player who previously served as athletic director for HBCU school Morgan State. “I take pride in this, in that I found what I believe is the best person for the job, who happens to be Black. And in addition to that, if you look at the minority coaches that were hired this cycle, he's the only one who moved up. (James) Franklin, right, was the only other one who was hired again in the cycle.

“There were a lot of coaches hired, but none of them looked like me or Charles Huff. And so to be able to give him this opportunity because he earned it, not because he was Black, I take pride in that.”

In five previous seasons as head coach, Huff has five bowl berths, a Sun Belt Conference championship and one of the sport’s signature upsets this decade when his Marshall won at Notre Dame in 2022.

He is a protégé of both Franklin and Nick Saban, serving as Saban’s associate head coach at Alabama in 2019-20 before landing his first head coaching post at Marshall.

He wins. Huff wants to win more. For everyone.

“The only way for me to effectively move the needle is to win,” Huff said. “And not only winning on the field, but winning off the field, making the right decisions, I still, to this day, if I drive, I won't even have one drink. You know, I'm making sure that my off-the-field alignment goes with winning, because I know me having success will create opportunities for others. Is it gonna happen overnight? No. But I think over time, you know, guys like James Franklin, he's won at a high clip. Tony Elliott now is winning at a high clip. The more we win, the more opportunities come.

“So, the weight I carry is the best thing I can do is win.”

Medvedev smashes his racket 7 times during double bagel loss to Berrettini in Monte Carlo

MONACO (AP) — Former No. 1Daniil Medvedevlost his temper, smashed his racket on the red clay court seven successive times, and then deposited the mangled frame in a trash bin midway through a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Matteo Berrettini at theMonte Carlo Masterson Wednesday.

Medvedev, who is currently ranked 10th, received a code violation for unsportsmanlike conduct and will also likely be hit with a hefty fine for his actions early in the second set.

The 30-year-old Russian was already struggling when he landed a forehand in the net to drop his opening service game of the second set and fall behind 2-0 and he slammed his racket near the baseline. Then he picked the racket up and threw it toward a tarp at the end of the court.

Still not through, Medvedev then continually picked his frame up and kept on smashing it until it was destroyed enough to fit through an opening in a courtside trash can as the crowd sarcastically cheered him on.

Medvedev, whowon the U.S. Open in 2021, lost the match in 49 minutes. He had five double-faults to Berrettini’s none; put only 36% of his first serves in play to Berrettini’s 65%; and won only 17 of the 67 points.

It was quite a turnaround from the previous three meetings between the players — which were all won by Medvedev.

According to statistics providerOpta, Berrettini became only the fifth player since the ATP Rankings started in 1973 to defeat a top-10 opponent 6-0, 6-0 — a score otherwise known as a double bagel — with the last time it happened being a decade ago when David Goffin routed Tomas Berdych at the Italian Open.

“I wouldn’t expect to win like that and it doesn’t happen that often,” Berrettini said.

Medvedev was playing his first match on clay this year, having recentlybeaten top-ranked Carlos Alcarazto reach a final on hard courts in Indian Wells, California.

Berrettini, a Wimbledon finalist in 2021 who has struggled with injuries in recent years, is ranked 90th. The Italian received a wild card invitation for Monte Carlo.

“It was definitely one of the best performances of my life,” Berrettini said. “I think I missed three shots in the whole match.”

Prince William & Kate Middleton ‘Furious’ After Ex-Royal Caught — Source

Prince WilliamandKate Middletonwere reportedly furious overEx-Prince AndrewandSarah Ferguson’srumored living setup. The alleged arrangement at Wood Farm reportedly raised fresh concern for the future king and the Princess of Wales about what was happening out of their sight. The alleged arrangement left them feeling that earlier efforts had not closed the matter.

Kate Middleton and Prince William concerned about what’s going on behind the scenes, claims source

As perCloserOnline, the alleged visits happened at Wood Farm. One insider said Sarah had been there on different occasions, describing the act as carefully hidden. The same source claimed that one trip happened in Andrew’s car, where she was allegedly hidden in the footwell under a blanket. In another instance, the insider added, Sarah was “smuggled” inside in a removals van.

This reportedly got Prince William and Kate Middleton “absolutely furious.” The insider said, “This wasn’t just discreet, it was covert.” That detail, the report claimed, was what really rattled them.

Meanwhile, the same source said Kate worried about what the arrangement could mean long-term and that there’s “real concern” about what’s been secretly going on. Kate reportedly took an especially firm stance. According to the insider,Andrewand Sarah’s presence still represented a risk, even quietly. They added, “Every time they’re still in the frame,” the family cannot fully move on. That made the issue about more than one private reunion.

The report also stated that Kate is thinking about the future for her children, George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis,7.

The source claimed William andKatewere now discussing about having a more remote base for the former prince and his ex-wife. “They’re talking about somewhere that removes them from the day-to-day royal environment completely. There are even discussions about whether they should be moved abroad permanently, but that could create further complications and risk the Palace losing control altogether”, they added.

Overall, as per the report, the Prince and Princess of Wales want “no more secrets and lies.”

Virginia women's basketball hires Richmond's Aaron Roussell as head coach

Virginia didn’t have to look far for its next women’s basketball coach.

USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Roussell will be the next head coach at Virginia, the school announced Tuesday evening. For the last seven years, Roussell has been the head coach at Richmond, turning the Spiders into a mid-major power.

Now, Roussell will test out his winning formula in the ACC.

“Aaron is a proven winner who embodies the university’s values of integrity, leadership, academic excellence and student-athlete development," Virginia athletic director Carla Williams said in a statement.

He inherits a program that just went to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2000, but one that lost its last head coach to murky circumstances. Virginia announced on Saturday morning that it had fired Amaka Agugua-Hamilton, anda USA TODAY Sports reportlater revealed that she was subject to an internal investigation and there were allegations of staff mistreatment.

Powered by Kymora Johnson —who is now in the transfer portal— Virginia became the first team since the Women’s NCAA Tournament expanded to 68 teams in 2022 to advance to the second weekend of March Madness after starting in the First Four. The Cavaliers defeated Arizona State, Georgia and Iowa before falling to TCU in the Sweet 16.

Agugua-Hamilton went 70-58 overall and 29-42 in ACC play. This season marked Virginia’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2018, when it made the second round in Joanne Boyle’s final season at the helm.

While Virginia has largely struggled since then, through the tenure of Tina Thompson and Agugua-Hamilton’s early years, Roussell was building Richmond into one of the best mid-major programs in the country. The Spiders — steered on the court by likelyfuture WNBA Draft pick Maggie Doogan— won at least 20 games in each of the past four seasons and have gone to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

Richmond won a March Madness game last season, defeating Georgia Tech in the first round. This season, the Spiders were the onlymid-major team to earn an at-large bidinto the field of 68. Roussell went 148-72 at Richmond, winning two Atlantic 10 titles and twice earning conference coach of the year honors.

A graduate of Iowa, Roussell got his start in coaching in the midwest as an assistant at Division II Minnesota State before becoming the head coach at Division III University of Chicago. Roussell led the Maroons to three conference championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances in eight seasons.

He then made the jump to Division I in 2012 by taking over at Bucknell. Under Roussell’s guidance, the Bison won three Patriot League titles and went to a pair of NCAA Tournaments. He was twice named Patriot League Coach of the Year.

Roussell is one victory shy of 300 for his career as a Division I head coach, but also won 161 games at Chicago.

Virginia moved quickly on this search after firing Agugua-Hamilton on Saturday. Three people directly connected to the search told USA Today Sports that the Cavaliers had a conversation with Fairfield coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis, expressed interest in Kentucky’s Kenny Brooks and also internally considered Navy's Tim Taylor — who is a Charlottesville native and coached under Hall of Famer Debbie Ryan. Ultimately, athletic director Carla Williams, with the help of Parker Executive Search, narrowed their focus to Roussell who has won a whole lot of games just 70 miles southeast of Virginia’s campus. Despite bankrolling Agugua-Hamilton’s roster, the people familiar with the search said that Reddit founder and Virginia alum Alexis Ohanian was not directly involved with the search.

Roussell will be the fifth head coach in the history of the program and the first man to be the head coach of the women’s basketball team at Virginia. The Cavaliers have a proud history in the sport, as Ryan led the Cavaliers to a trio of Final Four appearances in the early 1990s with teams powered by Dawn Staley and Tammi Reiss.

“My family and I are beyond excited to lead the UVA Women’s Basketball program into a bright and prosperous future,” Roussell said. “We are well aware of the rich history and tradition of this program, and we look forward to putting the UVA program into the nation’s elite on a consistent basis.”

Virginia also owns 11 ACC titles, but hasn’t won one since 2000. It will be Roussell’s job to get them back to that championship status.
